猜想绝大多人经过这几天的推销都应该看过了这首歌的MV,挺感人的。

And I just got notified that I'll have to go for that suicide circus nonsence crap on pulau ubin. Thought I wouldn't ever have to go back there again. Will you jump down from 6 stories? Hell, no.

漫步.trudge

I'm sure some people may have encountered something similar. While walking back home, I came past these 2 girls, who barely a second after walking past broke out giggling and singing "sing acs forever more.." I know they did it on purpose since I could jolly well hear them. Was it because I looked a terrible mess coming back from uyo or the plain mockery or recognition that this institution has a made a name out of. I should mention that just the other day around CNY, while on the MRT, I was standing in front of this RV guy who gave me the pissed-off look. Lo and behold, he had this acs badge pinned onto his uniform. Weird shit people do these days. I have a good mind to capture them down in all their glory, aka ze Shell Shocked Project.

Now that I recall, while those ppl were having RT, they shot the ball onto the circuit camera nearby, which was a one in a million event. Some technician later rushed down and kept turning it here and there, he was still there an hour later with a screwdriver. I reckon the camera's dead and those ppl are screwed :P

時間

I just found out that my brother (hci sec1) chalked up $130 for his hp bills this month. So much for being entrusted a phone for the first time, he screwed up. Now I can at least understand why Nat's parents make him use a Hello card. Well, this doesn't happen to me much since no one really calls me except for trouble, which I painstakingly avoid. I dunno what got into his head, but I'm pissed abt him anyway. And its back to reality after watching this video going about EDMW of how some cheenah poachers chop the limbs of foxes off while they are alive, and then skin them alive, you can see tears coming out from their eyes. And even their whole skin (including head) has been removed, they are still alive and struggling for the last few minutes of their lives. I didn't watch till half the stuff I describe above, it was far too disgusting to watch further. So much for humanity. If you are interested in seeing how these morons go about their arse-up job, you can ask me for the video. Someone commented about going to China during WW3 to shoot and skin these ppl alive, although I have the same sentiments: 不要与那群野兽一般见识, so please dun run after anyone you see on the streets wearing fur with a chopper (they should be shot though). Found the following meaningful, do read:

Only after the last tree has been cut down
Only after the last river has been poisoned
Only after the last fish has been caught
Only then will you find that money
cannot be eaten

An old Cree Indian saying

What is Man Without Beasts
If all the beasts were gone,
man would die from the great loneliness of spirit,
For whatever happens to the beasts
also happens to man
All things are connected
Whatever befalls the Earth
befalls the sons of the Earth

いつか _ 明日的曙光

その時で、its not the darkest of storms, but the first light of dawn of something desirable. It is technically 3, practically 2 (counting GEPcamp), to the end of this term. I found some old friends over the weekend, not a very fufilling CNY but at least pressed on for some stuff to be done. Still stuck with more. A lil more to share, www.acintas.com is now listed on the top of google if you google for acintas and its family of sites. It previously was listed at the bottom since the framed pages provided little description of importance to the google bots, so that's another technical problem fixed and learnt. acintas hasn't exactly been profitable since starting out 3 years ago, traffic ranking was able to rival acnova for a while, but not so recently. Net income is USD25 (ads) vs USD50 (domain) + USD100 (defective hw) + USDXXX (maintainence). The trend's gonna continue for a long while, though I'm betting on content to turn this state of crap around. More to come. じゃね

fly away + 心跳動力還在

I figured one of the easiest existing tools for a bleddy HW list is a blog. Some other stuff that I need to get going:

.unified music, photos database
.exact audio copy all other CDs
.reformat my laptop
.hw list running + timetable

And it seems lots of people have a fetish for shirts, something could be done.

新年新春'05

又是這每年一度的佳節,新年氣息特別昌盛.

Its that special time of the year again. Just came back from visiting relatives in Malaysia, and I just realised I have nearly 15+ cousins! Not bad, had a reunion lunch as usual, though some old faces were not around and there were new and old faces popping up again. I'm pretty much an oddball or latecomer since I'm the only one that lives in the city state, and some of them already have children. But good for a start, I'm just getting to know my cousins who are living in Taiwan. Before that, there was the usual CNY countdown event, this time up in a hotel room overlooking a "sleepy town" in Johor. Before the clock struck 12, there were already people blasting fireworks into the sky, me included with my bro and QZ. So when it did strike 12, you could hear the sky booming behind the room window glass. Let me do a demonstration: Bam pa pa pa hyuuuu bam pa bam pa pa hyuu hyuu biap!!!! Something like that la, you have to be there to see it visually. Crazy sia, people all over the town were firing stuff into the sky and making tonnes of noise. Just less then 100m from the hotel already got more than 10 households blasting stuff. I reckon I saw over 300 from where I was, behind the mountain, the sky was also illuminating. deja vu! It really looks like something I have seen from TV, shock and awe when the US bombed Iraq. Nao hiah, lights were glowing all over the place. Then some people were firing those rapid successive ones that looked damn like AA artilery, the shots could go as long as 2 minutes with 20 flashes per sec. Lots of other varieties especially the types you see on National Day that lasts for around a min. Fireworks are not illegal on CNY eve and 初一 , and it costs RM100 for 2 or 3 of those AA long lasting ones. In fact, one of my cousin sells these stuff. Looks like you dun have to be the sg gahmen to afford all that fancy works. Anyways,

Happy Coooooccckeeed Year!!!

buildup.settling

Saturday is good, thanks to the 5 day week. But not only that, CNY is coming and everyone's spirits seems to have heightened. Went out just now, and people on the streets were all so polite and amicable. I bought the Start 自选集 album, returning to the beginning.

That I would be good

That I would be good even if I did nothing
That I would be good even if I got the thumbs down
That I would be good if I got and stayed sick
That I would be good even if I gained ten pounds
That I would be fine even if I went bankrupt
That I would be good if I lost my hair and my youth
That I would be great if I was no longer queen
That I would be grand if I was not all knowing
That I would be loved even when I numb myself
That I would be good even when I am overwhelmed
That I would be loved even when I was fuming
That I would be good even if I was clingy
That I would be good even if I lost sanity
That I would be good
Whether with or without you

assemble.dream

I'm on the brink of clinching yet another comp assembling assignment, from none other then our domestically oppressed mun this time. Hope he gets the ok. This is likely the last of the Sonata black series I'll be doing or likely another new concept. If you are wondering who else were the lucky reciepients of these sleek comps, they are BZ and Ben Chia resepectively. BZ's was done at nearly $2.5k, Ben's was $2k and a tad more powerful graphically as well. Price difference is due to the 1 month difference in between, some crazy year end price cutting after BZ bought his, most unfortunately he missed out on that. Lucky Ben.

Specs:

a piece of life + 生活點滴

I remember MT's a piece of life as used to being one of my favorite songs back in 2001 during PSLE, and it still is along with all her other music works of 1999 to 2003. She still produces music albums, albeit at an appallingly slow pace now, and they have since taken a different style. a piece of life and yasashii kaze sounded just as good last night while writing about croassroads, as they did when I first heard them. These remain my best-loved albums, and will be for the foreseeable future since I'm only listening to it once every 6 months or a year, as compared to everyday and every night as I did once. How paths cross momentarily and run off in opposite lines, probably never to meet again. So true. There are some people in the past years that I have encountered this phenomenon with, Benj Chee (all CHS ppl will rmb him as the nemesis), Poon (no idea what happened to him during '01 year end hols), Mun (spooked him I suppose), Soon Kai (I have no idea what happened but I think something did), BSoh (he takes me for a backstabber I think, I accept a busybody) and others I can't remember. Not that these people are no longer in speaking terms with me, but some events call for our crossings to end just there. Change is inevitable, I have to admit people change, thus I might no longer recognize them. I have no intention of bringing up bad blood by writing all these, but this likely being our last year together does count for something after the ups and downs of last 3 years. Hence, I'm not out to make an enemy of anyone from these 3 years. If crossing over the crossroad be their path, its fine, I have my own too. The segregation of our batch into the O and IB track has taken its toll too. Truely speaking, I have not seen Tim Liew or Daryll Quek since the end of last year, even though they are just 1 wall next door, yet I have seen Mike Koh who is half the globe away now. A cruel joke indeed.

You ask me to whom I'm writing all these for, mainly myself. I don't consider myself having a good memory, and writing here is but a good way of remembering (partly one of the reasons why I'm such a strong advocate of the HW List). But I'm aware people come here, if any, and even an idiot would know better than to pour all his bag out on public domain. PSK keeps saying I'm weird, I cannot say so for myself, but there must be some truth to it. I do stuff on the basis of getting the job done, simple as that. 拿得起,放得下: if you know chinese, this simple but meaningful phrase does give strength to go on. Perhaps that's why I'm so forgetful, but in a good sense. Been listening to the Naruto theme song as well, and I get reminded about how hardworking he is even when no one will acknowledge his existence. And I just go on.
