SofiaSomeone commented to me yesterday about my approach towards life as "Living in the world of tomorrow". How funny, its so true! Tomorrow will always be better has been the mantra I've based my recent fractions of life upon. The problem being that I'm rushing to get into tomorrow. Lots of people I have been working with have mixed reactions regarding this but I don't see any other way out. If the present is so bleak, you work to make it better by tomorrow. Isn't that the way its meant to be?
Due to long term exposures to technology, I must also add that
instant gratification is one of the conditions I strongly adhere to in working towards tomorrow. Now, there are lots of laggards out there that like to mull and take their time, I have no idea why. Its horrible to live in a world where things are so disastrous. I think this crap ideal of mine started from watching the Biccentenial Man movie, and the ante and been upped in Spirits Within. So there.
SopranosOn side note, I have been adhering to a self-imposed ban on blogging for the last 22 days. Nothing spectacular about the 1st or 2nd weeks of school, namely Orientation and Bridging, really ugly weeks. I have seen how some people do 180 degree U-turns in their outward and inward relations in such a brief time. By God's grace, I have gotten into a decently happening and caring class. My last best class was 2.11, but no one seems to reminscient much about that. This first month will be a great test to filter out the undesirable persons from before.
CNY decoration fever has hit my class pretty well now that class spirit is on the gain. By inspiration of Vickie, everyone has been posthumously installed into the Staplets family with a Staplets title. Mine is iStaplet, *applaud applaud*. Ok, another win goes to her for that human outline right outside our class which has been raising quite many stares from people slowing down to examine it. I'm reminded by that big shot's house in Soul Society in Bleach coupled by 2 hands raising a big banner proclaiming the name of the owner. Retardedly brilliant and funny. This decor seems to have the same effect. Another class down the corridor has accomplished the same effect by cutting 2 holes in their postered door for people to peek in. Only pity is our class has yet to sanitize the clinical condition of living. We need cushions, carpet, cupboards, cookies and coffeee!
The team has been making quite a number of breakthroughs in the last few weeks, albeit not in a pretty fashion. But still, if you take into account the intentions and concepts, its pretty groundbreaking. Phuan commented that my sudden bouts of revelations are hardly welcomed to her since she now has a harder time fixing the documentations. Apologies over there. I dunno how well it will turn out, but it should in some part or another. Karan seems pretty optimistic about it. As a tomorrow person, I should be too! Why not? Here we go again!
The fire alarm went off on Thursday, thanks in part to the paper buttons. 5.5 people were breaking into funny fashion outside their class.

After which I followed the company (Moh, SKai, QZ, Shivana, Bill Pill, Mun) to visit Royston who is bedridden in SGH for a lung collapse. I must say its not a kind of occasion I would wish to see again: a friend, classmate or family member in the hospital. To add salt to the wound, it was Toh's Birthday too, along with Liew that day.

And so there we were, Mun, QZ and Shivana were boasting about the numerous operations they had gone for that ranged from appendix to stomach flushing. Kiahua, clammy and kevin came slightly after. Sigh, hopefully we don't meet for such occasions again, its real depressing. To anyone concerned about Toh, he's well on track to be discharged and was out yesterday. Stay strong everyone! Tomorrow will be a better day, cos ID7 says so.
